Alternative partner processing routes
Bars and rods are supplied through partner manufacturers. Hot-rolled, cold-finished and threaded products follow different routes; the requested shape, grade, finish and drawing define the processing requirements.
Rolling produces bar stock. Surface preparation and cutting requirements are agreed for the order.
Cold drawing and straightening prepare selected bar shapes. Specify dimensional tolerances, straightness and final surface requirements.
Thread processing is specified by the complete thread designation and drawing. Give the required length, pitch or threads per inch, ends and inspection requirements.
PACKING AND ORDER COORDINATION
Material selection, surface protection and delivery need to work together. We review these requirements with your specification so they can be included in the quotation and order.
Bundle size, separation and end protection can be discussed around the bar finish and cut lengths you need. Include any restrictions on bundle weight or handling.
Surface Protection & PackingWe review the grade, dimensions, tolerances and finish against your drawing or sample reference. Any required tests, inspection records and material documents are included in the order discussion.
Sampling & Quality ControlWe coordinate the agreed material and processing requirements with identification, packing-list information and delivery arrangements. Share the destination and any shipping or document requirements your project needs.

PURCHASING QUESTIONS
Choose the round, square, hexagonal or flat solid section that matches your drawing. For a threaded rod, select that form and provide the thread designation. If the shape is not yet decided, attach the part drawing for discussion.
For hexagonal bars, use the across-flats dimension. For flat bars, provide thickness and width. Add the length, quantity and any dimensional tolerances for either form.
Send the thread designation, length and quantity, together with the grade if known. Include the pitch, thread standard and end requirements shown on your drawing.
Yes. Share the complete dimensions or drawing, plus any grade, finish, quantity and processing requirements you have. We can review the material and cut-length options for your order.
